Latin Rulers of Constantinople. 1204-1261. BI trachy (22.4 mm, 2.02 g, 6 h). Constantinople mint. Christ seated facing on throne, wearing nimbus, pallium and colobion; raising right hand in benediction, and holding scroll; IC-XC in fields / Emperor, crowned and wearing loros, standing facing, holding globus cruciger and cross-tipped scepter. SBV 2048; DOC 34. F/VF, pierced. Rare.

Ex Mars Numismatics.

Rare, only six specimens recorded at ACSearch. Although struck at Constantinople it imitates a type struck at Thessalonica.
