Greek Black Ware Kalathos. A large Greek Black-Ware Kalathos, Magnia Graecia, c. 3rd Century BC, with rounded foot, the body widening to a flared mouth. The vessel is decorated with stylized vine motifs, in white slip and incised line, around the rim and on the body. H: 7 ½” (19 cm); Dia: 7 ½” (19 cm). Intact with light deposits. A splendid example!
