Colima Puppy. A finely executed canine effigy from Colima, West Mexico, ca. 300 BC – 300 AD. This adorable puppy is 3-1/4” long and stands on all fours. The incise back shows the ribs of a malnourished dog, yet the face is alert and happy. Ex Arnold collection. Value range $225-$250.
