Olmec Bird Whistle. A beautiful Olmec avian whistle from Mexico, ca.1000 – 200 BC. It is 2” high and depicts a baby chick with open beak, waiting to be fed. The highly burnished slip shows good mineral deposits and the multi-note whistle has great tone. Value range $150-$175.
