Egyptian Terracotta Ushabti. A nicely painted Egyptian terracotta ushabti, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, mummiform, wearing tripartite wig, arms folded at chest, wrists crossed. The figure with black wig and red pigment on the face and body, front and back. Extremely well-preserved and an interesting ushabti type! L: 6 ¾” (17.2 cm). Minor chipping behind head on back. Ex Nomis Antiquities; Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value range $200-$300.
