Constantine I "The Great" - Barbarous Imitation. c. 319-325 AD.. Billon Centenionalis or Follis (16 mm, 2 g). Cuirassed bust left wearing high-crested helmet and holding shield with motif of dots, banded with wavy line interspersed with dots, spear held over right shoulder; profoundly blundered legend is little more than a repetitive decorative border-element / Two Victories standing, facing one-another, holding between them over a columnar altar or cippus a shield with letters meant to portray a vota inscription; legend, mainly consisting of "P's" and "H's", nearly reduced to a decorative border-element; in exergue, 4 or 5 illiterate characters "IOPH" ?.
