Spartan Numismatics is part of the Pegasi Numismatics family. Pegasi has been offering quality coins and antiquities to discriminating collectors since 1972.

Spartan Numismatics was established as a separate company in 1997. Spartan’s mission is to find interesting and historical items for the collector with an eye towards value for money. Our Spartan philosophy allows us to offer lower prices and cheaper material while still providing carefully researched items within an accurate historical context. A budget priced coin does not have to be an unattractive or boring coin or a mystery coin from a junk-box with no identification.

Since our founding, Spartan has produced 64 print catalogs and sold over 25,000 coins to thousands of happy customers. We have been responsible for building many impressive collections and finding difficult coins that other firms could not supply. All these coins and antiquities are well researched and selected with care weighing price, quality, and historical interest. We offer coins in all price ranges.
