Iron Foot Patten. Holland, XVI-XVII Century AD. This iron loop was attached to the bottom of wooden soled shoes (pattens) when the ground was muddy or snow covered. 6 long. A few chips, but in great shape for iron. Stablized and lacqured. Very rare.
