Lot 23-229. Moche Deity Bottle.

Moche Deity Bottle. A beautiful Moche III bottle from Peru, ca. 200 – 450 AD. This lovely bi-chrome vessel is 8” high and is decorated with panels of conjoined deity designs, separated by panels of linear dot motifs. In perfect condition, great paint, nice mineral deposits. Cf. Hoyle “Los Mochicas II”, page 197, for similar example from the Herrera Museum.
