Islamic Pattern-Molded green glass flask. An Islamic Pattern-Molded green glass flask, Levantine, c. 10th - 12th Century AD, with a piriform body bearing a highly stylized design containing swirls and circles. A tubular neck rises from the top of the body and is decorated with two scalloped trailed neck rings at its base. H: 5 ½” (13.9 cm). The straight mouth with some chipping and overall weathering of the surfaces with areas of restoration. A rare type! Ex English private collection. Value Range: $300 - $400.
