Colima Figure. A choice Colima figure from West Mexico, ca. 300 BC – 300 AD. This standing male is 6-7/8” high and is depicted in the characteristic dancer’s pose, with one foot slightly in front of the other and turned outward. His conical head is adorned with two headbands and the ears are perforated to indicate ear spools. In excellent condition, with strong dendrites and root marks overall. Ex Rendon collection. Value range $300 - $450.
